Who can apply?
Only Malaysians aged 21 years and above can apply for the Agrobank Hartani-i. Make sure that you have a stable monthly salary of at least RM1,500 if you are a government employee, and RM2,000 for private sector employees.

For those who do not fit the criteria above, you will need to have a stable income and will be able to make prompt monthly repayments - you will be subjected to a credit check before being approved. You can take up a Takaful insurance to secure your borrowing in the event that you default on your repayments.

How much can I borrow with the Agrobank Hartani-i?
If you want to purchase the land for agricultural purposes, you can borrow up to 100% - that's the entire selling price!

How long is the financing tenure?
You can stretch your repayments for up to 240 months or until you reach 60 years old, whichever is sooner.

Do I need guarantor to secure my borrowing with Agrobank?
The land is pledged to Agrobank for the entire financing period, however, additional collateral or guarantor is required if the land value is not sufficient.

It is also required that you pay 1 months instalment in advance at the start as a security deposit - make sure you have enough money saved up beforehand!

Can I settle borrowing earlier?
Of course you can, if fact, it should be encouraged! You will be entitled to a rebate (Ibra) for being able to take reign of your finances.
